Manuel Antonio National Park

Destination Manuel Antonio

1. Beach lovers

The beautiful beaches of Manuel Antonio should be at the top of your bucket list. There are five beaches in this area. All of them beautiful with white sand and turquoise waters. Some beaches are great for the family and other for surfing.

2. Rain forest hike

There are several trails in the national park that are worth exploring as they lead to beautiful viewpoints, beaches and a waterfall.

You may run into agoutis, see hummingbirds up close and experience plenty of monkeys. If you choose the less known trails it will be less crowded and you can have it all to yourself!

3. Snorkling

Sand strips and rocks alternate on the seabed. Even if there is not a lot of coral, numerous species typical from East Pacific regions can be spotted. You will come across schools of surgeonfish, Cortez rainbow wrasse spurting over the rocks and several blowfish species hiding away at every sudden move. Two butterflyfish species and two angelfish species  also dwell here.
